A plain-language summary of the goals, design and what participants do
The investigation involves the drug ruxolitinib, which is taken by mouth as a 20 mg tablet. The study is performed in healthy volunteers, not in people with a specific illness, to see how the medication is absorbed when taken as two slightly different tablet versions.
The purpose of the study is to compare the bioavailability of the two tablet forms, meaning how much of the medicine reaches the bloodstream. Participants will receive one tablet type, have a short break, and then receive the other tablet type, while blood samples are collected to measure how the drug behaves in the body. The main measurements include Cmax (the highest level of the drug in the blood), AUC (the total amount of drug exposure over time), tmax (the time it takes to reach the highest level), and t1/2 (how long it takes for the drug level to drop by half). Safety is also checked by monitoring for any adverse events such as unusual symptoms or changes in vital signs and lab tests.
The trial runs in 6 steps – from screening to follow-up. Each step says what happens and what the team monitors.

is an oral tablet that contains a medicine which blocks certain signals in the body called JAK pathways. By doing this, it can help control abnormal blood cell production and reduce inflammation. In this study, the tablet is being tested to see how well it is absorbed into the bloodstream when taken on an empty stomach.
is also an oral tablet that contains the same medicine as Ruxolitinib. It is used as the reference product to compare against the test tablet. The study looks at how quickly and how much of the drug from Jakavi reaches the blood under the same fasting conditions.
This medication is taken as a 20 mg oral tablet taken by mouth. It is an approved drug that has been studied extensively in medical research and is used mainly for conditions such as myelofibrosis and polycythemia vera. It works by blocking proteins called Janus kinases (JAK1 and JAK2), which reduces signals that cause abnormal blood cell growth. It belongs to the class of Janus kinase inhibitors, a type of anti‑cancer medicine.
This product is also a 20 mg tablet taken orally. It is the branded version of ruxolitinib and is approved for the same blood disorders, including myelofibrosis and polycythemia vera. Like the test drug, it blocks the JAK1 and JAK2 proteins to lower the signals that drive disease activity. It is classified as a Janus kinase inhibitor, used in oncology.
